Perolas brings the harp into the contemporary realm, coupling this sonorous instrument with analogue effects and a mix of acoustic and electronic instruments.

From up-tempo beats to otherworldly soundscapes, Perolas brings a fusion of cultures to original compositions and musical arrangements, which earned the band the award for ‘Best Intercultural Act’ at the 2019 Music Victoria Awards.

Margot Fenton (Kate Gillespie) is a solo Double Bass looping artist, who specialises in performing live bow and percussive inspired music that blends her love for improvisation and creative expression.  

The Conservatorium graduate has been blessed to showcase her latest project throughout Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, including the likes of Yonder and Jungle Love festivals. She recently appeared on 4ZZZ's morning show 'OZONE' where she announced the release of her debut EP Existing Elsewhere (now available on all major streaming platforms).

Margot Fenton is beyond thrilled and grateful to be opening the night by supporting local band Perolas (Melb) as part of their monthly residency at The POME, in Richmond.
