About this experience
The Hornets feature some of the country’s most well known and respected blues & roots musicians, including ARIA Hall of Fame guitarist Jeff Burstin (Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons and The Black Sorrows), Yuri Pavlinov (Renee Geyer, The Bamboos) on bass, Chris Tabone (Bad Loves) drums and singer/songwriter and author Craig Horne on vocals. 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of The Hornets and despite COVID and the Melbourne lockdown they’ve managed to write and record a whole new album, which they will feature at POME… not to be missed!
'The Hornets are steeped in the blues, they rise out of the Yarra Valley Delta meeting at the mythical crossroads where Chicago grit has blown in. This is an earthy blues band with a pedigree of outstanding musicians…' – Warwick McFadyen, The Age
