About this experience
Blues & Roots
Corn Nut Creek is a story of two women from different sides of the world on a journey of self-discovery through music. The indie folk duo features Tanya Bradley’s sweeping banjo paired with Danielle Vita’s lilting and haunting fiddle and vocals – an ensemble greater than the sum of its parts. Their brand-new single Trails of Truth is a progression from their Americana and bluegrass roots that signals an evolution of the band. In 2020, their song ‘Nowhere to Go’ was in the ‘Juror’s Top Five’ and was a category finalist in Blues & Roots Radio’s International Song Contest. They are planning to release their first full album in October 2022, followed by an Australian tour.

Influenced by the likes of Glen Hansard and Wallis Bird, FJ Steele delivers songs colourful with lyrical imagery, driven by a thumping guitar beat, in deep and rich open string guitar tunings.
Shifting from slow-growing ballads to high octane danceable grooves, FJ Steele borrows from many genres delivers soaring new-age folk songs with hints of country, rock and pop styles that fill a deceptive amount of space, each with an intensity that leave hearts racing.
