Kim Volkman is a veteran of the St Kilda music scene, having the honour of being in one of the first bands to perform in the famed Gershwin Room after the end of Disco. 

A multi-instrumentalist (Guitar – Skin Diver, Ian Rilen & The Love Addicts; Bass – Dacios, X, James McCann & The New Vindictives; Dobro – The Mary Hillbillies) Kim has also fronted his own outfits The Severals (with Des Hefner, Adrian Chenoweth, Robbie Geapen and Shane Mitchell), and The Patron Saints (duo with Johnny's Drummer Billy Pommer Jr) but settling with The Whiskey Priests in the 2010s. It has had a rotating line-up, but recently the impressive rhythm section of Helen Cattanach and Carl Manuel has solidified it into a 3-piece format. 

Helen Cattanach has fronted Moler and Los Dominados and was a key member in Spencer P Jones' Escape Committee. Carl Manuell has drummed in The Ears, Beargarden and recorded with countless of Victoria's finest musicians and he is also regularly seen with The Peptides.
