About this experience
There are two things that count for The Vibrajets: a rockin' tone and a good time. These guys (and gal) have tone to burn, and when they strap on their vintage guitars, hit the stage and crank up their amps a good time always follows.
This string-bustin’, twist ’n’ rumblin’ Melbourne four-piece plunder the archives circa '57 to '62 for unsung treasures and at the same time come up with their own killer tunes to slot right in among them.
Comprised of past and present members of The Stems, The Shimmys, and The Breadmakers, The Vibrajets aren't the garage band the pedigree might suggest. This is wigged out and twangin' surf and frat and rock 'n' roll that goes back to the source – and is best enjoyed while shakin’ your moneymaker on the dance floor!
Plastic Section play original music inspired by wild rock ‘n’ roll, twisted rockabilly and raw rhythm and blues. With Ben on vocals and guitar, Pip on bass and Sue on drums.
Ben formed Plastic Section while living in Bangkok a few years ago, after he relocated to Melbourne and hooked up with a new lineup, the band has released albums 'Trouble Is Our Business' with Off The Hip Records and last year’s 'Twisted' with Sydney label Outtaspace Presents. Both albums have received rave reviews and radio airplay internationally.
